DRONES take on political and environmental issues in their new single Please Vacate The Planet

Fresh from their recently released sophomore album Our Hell Is Right Here, DRONES have taken aim at the issues of over-consumption and over-population of Earth in their new single Please Vacate The Planet.
The band, consisting of vocalist Lois McDougall, guitarists Tom Thain and Tim Kramer, bassist James Kerr and drummer Mitchell Thomas, have never been ones to shy away from world issues in the past and this latest single showcases that. Vocalist Lois McDougall says "Please Vacate The Planet is about the devastating impact humans have on Earth. We are like leeches sucking the life from the planet. We build and destroy, consume and discard so rapidly that it’s impossible for the rest of Earth’s life to remain intact. The population is growing so fast that sometimes it feels like the best thing to do is just get rid of us altogether..."
With the bands unique punk-fuelled post-hardcore stylings paired with their energetic live performances, it is no wonder why they are creating a good name for themselves in the alternative scene. You can catch the bands powerful live performances up and down the country this October, as well as checking out their new single Please Vacate The Earth below.
