NP, ND! Showing Off... Bright Town

In the eternal words of one of music’s greatest minds; “Another One”. After a tremendous debut at the hands of The Purple Hat Mob and Theo Defeatist, it seemed only right that we should show off a little more.

Originally scheduled for the end of the month, our excited anticipation will grow to unbearable levels as we’ve rescheduled our sophomore event at Jimmy’s Liverpool for the 13th March 2022 due to Covid. While there's understandable disappointment, we can’t wait to share our showcase and bring your attention to more brilliant artists worthy of your time.

Opening the night will be the dreamy soundscape of Astles. There's a plethora of words that you could use to describe the music of Astles; Grand, Intimate, and Honest are just a few that spring to mind about this wonderfully unique Liverpudlian. Yet, while these are beyond suitable descriptors, none truly do the scope of their sound justice. With two staggering singles available on Spotify (Grey Skies and These Things I Know To Be True) and a recently released tape-machine demo of Hottest Seats In Town on Soundcloud, you can expect to hear beautiful majesty this March.

Headlining our showcase are the effortlessly cool Bright Town. With the release of their self-titled EP last August this six-piece bring luscious harmonies with slick, ear-worm riffs that stay with you long after their set. Seamlessly sliding between powerful choruses and rich guitar solos on tracks like Changing to ethereal journeys in the delightful windings on A Noise Like Thunder.

Its a pleasure to be able to showcase the best and brightest of local, independent talent. With doors at 7:30pm, this isn’t one you’re going to want to miss.

Get your tickets here: for just £5!

We’re beyond excited and hope to see you there!
